Heartbreak, Outrage as Hundreds Bury Victim of Palestinian Terror Stabbing

Hundreds of Israelis wailed in agony and anger on Friday while laying to rest an Jewish man stabbed to death by a teenage Palestinian terrorist a day earlier.

Yotam Ovadia, 31, was reportedly out buying ingredients to make his wife a romantic dinner to mark Tu B'Av, the Jewish Valentine's Day, when the attack occurred in the settlement of Adam, just north of Jerusalem. Ovadia also leaves behind two young children.

"The heart breaks at the sound of your little son calling ‘Daddy, Daddy,’" cried Ovadia's father-in-law. "The little boy cannot go on without you."

The attacker was identified as 17-year-old Mohammed Tareq Yousef. He also managed to stab and seriously wound another Israeli man, aged 58, before finally being shot dead by his third intended victim.

At the funeral, Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben Dahan laid the blame squarely on a Palestinian Authority that continues to encourage the murder of Jews by praising such actions as "heroic" and elevating killers like Yousef to "martyr" status.

"To those who think that the Palestinian Authority is part of the solution, it is not! It is the problem!" said Ben Dahan.

Tourism Minister Yariv Levin concurred, insisted that "responsibility lies with the Palestinian Authority. Those who teach hatred will pay a price."

Other Israeli officials, including Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, threatened to respond by expanding Adam and additional Jewish settlements in the area.
