UPDATE:
Hours after news broke of a female shooter opening fire within the YouTube head office in California, the woman is believed to have been identified.
According to reports,the 38-year-old animal rights activist Nasim Aghdam is suspected of carrying out the brutal attack.
It was reported that Aghdam was a vlogger with a large following online who believed the social media platform “discriminated and filtered” her content.
Aghdam shared a video accusing YouTube of not paying her fairly and restricting views on her uploads.
It was reported that Aghdam shared a post to Facebook in February 2017 stating that:
The shooting at YouTube left one man and two women with gunshot wounds. The female shooter was reportedly discovered dead inside the building by police.“There is no equal growth opportunity on YouTube"

The active shooter at the YouTube in San Bruno, California, head office has been identified as a woman.
Four people have been injured and taken to hospital and an unconfirmed number dead. The shooter has reportedly also shot her boyfriend and then herself. It was reported that she was an adult white female.
